The dress pants legs may be straight, or tapered to be snug around the ankles. While tapered dress pants are more popular with the formal wear, the straight ones are more popular with the casual dress pants.

Even though dress pants are mainly designed for men, of late dress pants are also gaining popularity with in the women community also. There are few designers who are mainly concentrating on this community as dress shirts are al ready popular within the ladies community. These dress pants can be worn at both casual and formal occasions. This is the main advantage with these dress pants. And, as the prices are declining for these models the demand on very good rice for the dress pants in the recent times.
