Uniforms
A Buyers Guide For Uniforms by Trevor Marshall
Your team designs a professional uniform that will reflect upon them and you as well. Start with a simple design and have a memorable colour scheme, and work up from there. A good uniform doesn't have to be a full uniform, it can just be a polo or apron combined with a dress code. Finding the right uniform isn't hard, you just need to keep these helpful tips in mind.
1. Functional Aspects Of Uniforms
If you want to add function to form, there are many things that you can do. Sports uniforms have room for last names and numbers on them to help keep track of who scored what goals during the game. By adding a pocket to your uniform you can greatly enhance its functionality. The material you choose for your uniform can also have a great functional impact upon your teams performance on the field. Be sure to choose a material that will last a very long time if you can afford it.
2. Colour Scheme
A choice of color is very important for your uniform. Children especially enjoy the bright colours in nurse uniforms. You can even get your employees to wear promotional items like pins.
3. Get Materials That Will Stand Up To What You Put Them Through
Having a great uniform can really motivate your team to suceed. The material that you make your uniform out of will potentially cost you more up front but save you more in the long run.
4. Business Uniforms
Don't think of uniforms merely as a way to have customers recognise your workers - it is an extention of your branding and should work to enhance peoples opinions of your professionalism as well. A common policy of most businesses is to provide brand new uniforms to employees every annual or bi- annual anniversiary of their employment. By following these easy to read tips you will be far more able to pick out a great uniform for your team.

Have You Got Your Uniform On? by Susan Dunn, MA, Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach
Whatever your job is, and whether you're aware of it or not, I bet you have a "uniform." There's something that - when you put it on - you're ready to go.
I was reminded of this by FlyLady who always writes, "Where are your shoes?" She helps women at home organize their lives, and sends daily (and more) reminders. She's an advocate for getting up in the morning and putting on a pair of lace-up shoes.
For me, it's putting on my headset. I'm a coach and do most of my work at the computer and on the phone. When I sit down at the computer and put on the headset, my whole mindset changes. I settle in. I focus. I'm ready to go.
The blinders serve to keep the horse looking ahead, and to avoid distractions from peripheral vision.
That's not a bad analogy for settling in to get some serious work done. You need to focus your vision, and focus your mind on the task ahead.
It can be especially hard if you're self-employed or work at home to create the right atmosphere. Getting up in the morning and putting on your "uniform" works like Pavlov's dog, you know, "conditioning." If you will do this for 30 days, you will see some great results. Get up in the morning, make your bed, then shower and put on your uniform and go to work. Pretty soon it will all become habit, and all be connected together - put on uniform = time to go to work.
That's especially important when "going to work" means walking into the next room!
We're forming new connections in our brains all the time. Part of what we do in Emotional Intelligence is take a look at some of the connections and change them so your life works better. Setting up a strong connection between putting on your uniform and going to work helps with Intentionality and Focus. It's your message to yourself that you mean business.
Chances are you are doing this already. For instance, when I'm ready to bake, I put on an apron I've had for years. It brings back all sorts of memories, and I can almost feel my body change as it orients itself to kneading dough, beating eggs, crimping pie shells, and squeezing pastry tubes. My goes somewhere "else" that's very familiar, and I settle in to cooking, which to me is "flow." Taking off the apron is the end of the task, as I admire the pie I've just made, or the croissants. I switch gears and begin to think about the next tasl.
I immediately start thinking of what I'll do next, what client I need to call, or what errands needs running.
Become mindful of your different "uniforms" and use them to build good habits for more success and happiness.

Top 11 Paying and Most Searched Keywords on Google and Yahoo by David Maillie
If you have a website, write articles, or want to profit through an affiliate program than this is gold to you! These keywords are the actual top 11 on the internet. Use them and you are on your way to increased traffic, profits and results. Here they are and a little about each to help you on your way.
1) Paris Hilton. Whether we like it or not Paris and her wild lifestyle are here to stay as she is now considered one of the biggest stars. She is sought after by almost every fashion designer and her keywords will do well with any fashion or clothing content.
2) Google. Well, this one is obvious as Google is the largest search engine (regardless what Yahoo says). Being that Google is a search engine it can be used in any content, but works best with relation to websites, search engines, computers and software.
3) Yahoo. The second largest search engine and distant second on Pay per Click campaigns - very, very distant at that. The same will work for Yahoo. Stick with computer related material and you will do well.
4) Ebay. The worlds largest marketplace and auction. Ebay, for the most part is a wholesale marketplace. It is ruled by feedback and can give you a good idea as to the real value of a car (check Ebay motors). On Ebay anything goes including people selling tattoo advertising on themselves. In other words, anything can be linked to Ebay in one way or another. Yes, there is even porn on Ebay.
5)Eminem. Yes, the real slim shady is back. According to R and B and rap he never left as he is the number one rapper currently. If you need content on current music or teen and young adult topics Eminem is sure to bring you visitors.
6) Britney Spears. She was the hottest pinup for teens and preteens, but now she is probably pregnant again. I wonder why Kevin Federline didn't make the list - is it that he isn't a good singer? Britney is great for adolescent or music related content.
7) mapquest. Want to know where something is or how to get there. Being that we are getting closer to summer people are plotting out there vacations. Or, maybe, due to increasing gas prices thanks to George Bush, maybe they are figuring that its too far and will cost too much in gas. I bet if Hillary Clinton were President these gas prices wouldn't be any higher than $1.60 per gallon. These high gas prices have to do with the Bush family and their ties to big oil and energy. See, Mapquest can be linked to just about any content you want if you just try a little.
8) Tsunami. Even though the big one is over. Relief efforts are still in effect and so are the relief efforts for Katrina. Hint - these people still need lots of help. Tsunami is probably a big keyword due to the recent specials on TV about the next possible tsunami that might hit America. People are concerned and interested over these large scale natural disasters. When is the next earthquake going to hit California, will atsunami hit New York, and what will this hurricane season bring?
9) Girls. Yes, of course. There are millions of perverts and closet perverts out there that are a little over-fascinated with girls. As Donald Trump once said, "sex sells." Yes it does and nothing sells better than women or girls. They can sell anything including the worst items in infomercials and complete scams. A beautiful girl just needs to show a little cleavage and TV ratings soar. Just think what girls can do for your content.
10) American Idol. This is the top rated TV show and its in its 5th or 6th season. It has launched one star - Kelly Clarkson and a bunch of duds. Randy, Paula and simon have now become household names along with Ryan Seacrest. Any content you can tie into the current cast will do well. The previous casts should be avoided as they will soon go back to karaoke and such at local bars.
11) Skin care and skin treatment. This has always been a big one with women. It has been rumored that women will go without food before they will go without makeup and such. Just ask any department store how important skin care and skin treatment products are to their bottem line. Watch Shop NBC - almost every product on there has something to do with skin care and skin treatment for women. There are a wide variety of topics you can easily talk about here from the latest in laser therapy at dermatology offices and at home TCA skin peels for treating acne and wrinkles. Acne is and always will be a big topic as will wrinkles and their respective treatments.
There you have it the top 11 keywords on the internet from Paris Hilton to skin care and skin treatment to Google and American Idol. All with tips on how to use them to make your content have more impact and drive more traffic.

Uniform

For other uses, see Uniform (disambiguation).
A uniform is a set of standard clothing worn by members of an organisation whilst participating in that organisation's activity.
People performing religious activities have often worn standard costumes since the dawn of recorded history. Other early examples of uniforms include the clothing of the armies of the Roman Empire and other civilizations.
Modern uniforms are worn by armed forces and paramilitary organisations such as police, emergency services, security guards, in some workplaces and schools and by inmates in prisons. In some countries, some other officials also wear uniforms in some of their duties; such is the case of the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service or the French prefects.
Service and work uniforms
- work uniform
Workers sometimes wear uniforms or corporate clothing of one nature or another, including but not limited to shop workers, bank and post office workers, airline employees and holiday operators, and bar, restaurant and hotel employees. The use of uniforms by these organisations is often an effort in branding and developing a standard corporate image. The first service uniform registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office was the Playboy Bunny outfit (U.S. patent number 762,884).
Schools
- school uniform
In countries such as India, Korea and many other places, students in many schools are required to wear a uniform.
Sports
Most, if not all, professional sports teams also wear uniforms, comprised of the team's distinctive colours, often in different variations for "home" and "away" games. In the United Kingdom, especially in football, the term "strip" (as in "football strip") is more common.
Security and armed forces
- military uniform
In the case of uniforms worn by military personnel or civilian officials, there are generally several kinds of uniforms:
- battledress, khakis;
- everyday work uniform, where earned medals are typically replaced by ribbon bars;
- dress uniform: worn at ceremonies, official receptions, and other special occasions; medals are typically worn.
Prison
Prison uniforms in America often consist of a distinctive orange or yellow jumpsuit (originally a horizontal white and black zebra-striped uniform) to make escape more difficult, as it is exceedingly hard for an escaped inmate to avoid recapture and/or recognition in a such a distinctive attire.
In Britain, prison uniforms formerly consisted of a white jacket, trousers and pillbox hat, all stamped with the broad arrow to denote crown property.
Domestic workers
- Servant uniform
- Domestic workers are often required by their employers to wear a uniform.
Scouting
The Scout uniform is a specific characteristic of the Scouting movement, in the words of Lord Baden-Powell at the 1938 World Jamboree, "it covers the differences of country and race and make all feel that they are members one with another of one World Brotherhood". The original uniform, which has created a familiar image in the public eye, consisted of a khaki shirt, shorts and a broad-brimmed "Smokey Bear" hat. Baden-Powell himself wore shorts as being dressed like the youth contributed to reducing distances between the adult and the young person. Nowadays, uniforms are frequently blue, orange, red or green, and shorts are replaced by long pants in areas where the culture calls for modesty, and in winter weather.
