Being a manager entails learning and discovering how to effectively manage people, which mean interacting with them on a level that is appropriate for the situation without upsetting someone. Training is another place where you should focus. You need to become an expert within the store. If you do not know how to actually cook then where would you be if a cook did not show up on time?
